About Us – Matthew Freeze Painting
Welcome to Matthew Freeze Painting Co., a division of HTE Inc., where our passion for exceptional painting services is deeply rooted in a rich family tradition of business ownership. As a third-generation entrepreneur, I proudly carry on the legacy of craftsmanship and dedication that has been passed down through my family.
Born and raised in the vibrant community of the Delmarva Peninsula, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing our neighborhood’s growth and evolution firsthand. In 2007, I took a leap of faith and established Harbour Towne Enterprises Inc., driven by a desire to contribute my skills and expertise to the place I call home.
Over the years, our business has become synonymous with quality, value, and trustworthiness. We don’t just paint walls; we bring your vision to life while ensuring each project reflects the highest standards of excellence. Our commitment to you is more than just professional—it’s personal. After all, this isn’t just a business for us; it’s a part of who we are, deeply interwoven with the community we love. That’s why we are proud to serve both Virginia (Accomac and Northampton Counties) and Maryland (Somerset and Worcester Counties).
“I grew up in the construction industry and always had summer jobs involving construction throughout high school and college. After college my wife and I decided to return to the Shore to pursue our passions – painting was (and is) my passion. To be able to create something from a concept or idea into a finished product is very gratifying to me. The most satisfying thing for me is the problem solving, team work and collaboration from different trades – all working together towards one goal.”

We’re proud members of the Painting Contractors Association (PCA) because we believe in doing things the right way—not just for our clients, but for the industry as a whole. Being part of PCA means we stay current with best practices, safety standards, and business education, all while surrounding ourselves with others who care as much about craftsmanship and professionalism as we do. It’s our way of showing we’re serious about quality and committed to raising the bar in our trade.
